Art and wayfinding

Art in Site produced wayfinding and art for University of Kent’s new Maths & Business School. The scheme centres on a diagonal-stroke visual motif, inspired by the surrounding coppiced woodland area, which appears in a large-scale charcoal wall print.

A motif for the building

This diagonal motif also plays out across the building, in the lighting configuration; as a typographic device for signage; and as frosted manifestations on glass doors and windows.
